           Course Objectives


               1. To understand the basic concepts of Environment and its linkages
               2. To learn about the ecosystems, importance of biodiversity, renewable energy and sustainable

                  development

               3. To study the various environmental degradation problems and environmental management
               4. To understand the various social issues related to environment


           Course Outcomes



           At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

               1. Articulate the basic concepts of Environmental Studies and can apply the knowledge practically

               2. Describe the various natural resources and enumerate the conservation strategies
               3. Articulate the importance of ecosystems, biodiversity and the need of environmental restoration

               4. Explain different kinds of ecosystem

               5. Explain the concept and types of biodiversity, and conservation strategies
               6. Describe methods for the protection and health of environment and the well-being of people and

                  economic development
