Course Objectives

1. The learner will understand and analyze the development of Modern Prose literature in
Arabic.

2. The learner will appreciate the fictional works in Arabic Literature.
3. The learner will analyze critically the fictions in Arabic.

4. The learner can identify and classify the fictional works in Arabic as per its

trends and style of writing.
5. The learner can evaluate the literary works in Short Story, Novels and Drama.

Course Outcome

At the end of the course students will be able to,

1. Understand and analyze the development of Modern prose literature in Arabic
2. Appreciate the fictional works in Arabic Literature

3. Identify and classify the fictional works in Arabic as per its trends and style of
