Course Objectives

1. Explore the literatures produced in various regional languages and thereby
comprehend the repertoire of plural forms of narratives produced in various regions.
2. Understand how the process of translation helps the bringing together of various
cultural and social formations of regional spaces.
3. Discern how literary works produced in regional languages become potent tools
which subvert the pan Indian image existing on various levels.
4. Comprehend the vitality of various Indian languages and thereby undermine
the superior/inferior divisions of languages.

Course Outcomes

By the end of the course the learners will,
